Welcome to Bagdad Elementary

Bagdad Elementary has some of the best students ever! We are proud of our students in kindergarten through 6th grade. They work and play hard and always rise to a challenge.

Bagdad Sultans Love to Read

Here on our campus, our students are learning, loving, and living to read! We focus a good portion of every day on the various aspects of reading – from basic skill concepts, to creative and journal writing. Our students create class books, share stories, and read aloud to one another. All these activities give our students the confidence they’ll need to make the transition to the upper grades, from learning to read, to reading to learn. One way you can help your child is to encourage reading at home. You can read aloud to your child, have your child read aloud to you, or simply share quiet time where the entire family sits down and reads together silently. These things will show your child that you value reading—and chances are if you value it, your child will too.

Ready, Set, Read!
